With only one preceding pattern having been meant for artillery and vehicles, these M39 shelters are an amazing piece of history. The pattern consists of green, brown, light brown, and grey in non-overlapping blotches. Each piece has varying wash and wear; color saturation will vary.
In terms of design, these M39s are effectively 1:1 copies of the German WW2 era "Zeltbahn" shelter halves. This gives these shelters a dual purpose; they may function as a tent or alternatively can be folded and worn (in multiple configurations) as a camouflage poncho.
